Merit Industries, Inc.'s annual June Breeze TournaMAXX tournament featured Megatouch games Q-Shot and Card Bandits. Merit also ran its exciting new prize program, in addition to regular TournaMAXX with prizes being delivered at both the local and national levels, with the June Breeze prize tournament Card Bandits. First place in the June Q-Shot tournament went to Jenna Ngo of Raleigh, NC. Jenna scored 99,000 at Champions on a machine operated by Raleigh Amusements. Mary Tepp of Plover, WI scored 97,920 to take second place on a Stansfield Vending, La Crosse operated touch screen at the Post Road Pub. Coming in third was Kristin Pfeifer of Omaha, NE with a score of 97,300. Kristin also took the single game high score honors with a tally of 112,100; all at the Delta House on a machine operated by NTS. The regular Card Bandits tournament had players aiming high. Steve Novak scored 331,020 to take 1st place this month. Steve plays at Howard's Pizza in Warren, MN on a machine from Jim's Game Supply Co, Inc. In 2nd place was Toni Gillespie with a score of 329,840. Toni also plays on a machine operated by Jim's Game Supply at the Rusty Nail in Thief River Falls, MN. Third place went to JK of Cuyahoga Falls, OH who plays at the Windsor Pub on a touch screen from Bell Music. Robert Thompson of Akron, OH took the single game high score title with 343,300 at the Ellet Sports Bar, which is operated by Bell Music.

The top three prizes in the Card Bandits prize tournament went to players from all over the U.S. Chris "Killer" Macelroy of Cranford, NJ took home a Sony 750 Watt DVD Home Theater System for his 1st place score of 344,260 on a machine from Professional Amusement at Mighty Mike's Bar & Grill. The 2nd place prize of a Samsung Mini DV Digital Camcorder went to Ryan McCook with a score of 343,900 at the BWW Orange Park in Jacksonville, FL on a game operated by Associated Vending. Sharon Ridgeway of Maineville, OH took home a Canon Powershot 3.2 Digital Camera for her 3rd place score of 342,600 on a machine operated by Associated Vending at Zappz. John Bowers of Maples, MN took the single game high score title with 351,800 points playing at Lariat Lanes on a machine from American Amusement Arcade. Bob Mills, Merit's Vice President of Marketing & Network Business said, "We would like to say thank you to all who participated, helping to make this event another great success. We would also like to thank Best Buy for helping us out with the prizes and the operators who took on the Ultra and Progressive programs for us. Everyone came together to make this June Breeze tournament one of the best ever."
