Heber Limited Queen's Award Presentation
Heber Limited, one of the fastest growing providers of innovative electronic control systems in the world, was recently presented its official Queen's Award for International Trade, by HM Lord Lieutenant of Gloucestershire Henry Elwes. Heber was specifically recognized by the Queen's Award office for having increased its overseas sales by more than 80% in three years. The Lord Lieutenant visited Heber's Head Office in Chalford, Stroud, where he was shown around the expanding 18th Century Mill and introduced to many of the employees. He was informed of the complete process that Heber goes through from designing a product, to receiving an order, to shipping it out of the door, and also the unique points that has made them so successful in the international marketplace.
The tour was the completed by a champagne reception for the official presentation of the Queen's Award for Enterprise bowl and citation. "We are honoured to have been visited by HM Lord Lieutenant Henry Elwes to present our Queen's Award for Enterprise in International Trade" said Richard Placito – Managing Director. "The Queen's Award has been an excellent recognition of all of our hard work and with the official presentation all of the team could be involved and enjoy the honour."
