Trio-Tech Amusement is ready to launch its new full-blown driving simulator,
Wasteland Racers 2071 at the AMOA International Expo on 14-16 September in Las Vegas. According to the manufacturer, Wasteland Racer 2071 is the first arcade game with HD projection system on a 52-inch widescreen with surround sound. The game features up to 2Gs of acceleration and 100 movements per second, allowing players to realistically experience every bump and thrust on the road with extreme motion in every jump, turn, twist, and crash. Players race through post-apocalyptic race tracks in recreated cities with a choice of the available souped-up cars including 'destroyer', 'interceptor', 'hellbender', 'dune raider', 'milkshake' and 'crusher.' Wasteland is also linkable to up to 8 machines for incredible multiple player action. Upon completion of a perfect race, players will receive secret codes to unlock hidden tracks and cars. They will also receive a code to enter their high score online to view their worldwide ranking.
"It is the first of its kind in the amusement market and we are excited to be the first company to introduce such a futuristic and revolutionary product," said Frederic Lachance, President and Co-Founder of Trio-Tech Amusement.
"It's going to blow your mind! The motion is so intense that you are literally jolted out of your seat; the actuators make you feel like you're sitting right on top of an engine," said Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder, Ernest Yale, who designed the game in partnership with Swedish developer Grin.
To celebrate the launch of Wasteland Racers, Trio-Tech is holding a Tournament of Champions for visitors of its booth #3017 at AMOA, with a special prize planned for the winners.
