Students Help Drive Sales of The Fast And The Furious
Sales of The Fast And The Furious, the Raw Thrills video driving game have topped 1,000 units, with students identified as a core segment of the playing audience. The data, released by exclusive European distributor Brent Sales, reflects strong demand for performance video games with sales spread throughout the UK, Spain, Italy, Germany and France.

Explaining the popularity of the game, John Brennan, Product Manager at Brent Sales said, "The Fast And The Furious is a multi-layered game which has wide appeal. The use of five different rankings means that accomplished players continue playing in an attempt to lead the field in each category. The integral keypad entry panel enables players to register themselves on individual units storing player information, car history, number of upgrades, etc. This feature works particularly well in sites which have a high density of regular players, such as student bars."

Featuring three levels of difficulty, players select from a choice of 17 different vehicles and tackle 12 street courses at various U.S. locations. Bonus points are awarded for a range of stunts performed including wheelie, side wheelie, flip, heli, roll, vault and 360. The Fast And The Furious is available in standard (28" display) sit-down format, up to four playing positions linkable.
