UltraCade Technologies, a manufacturer of classic multi-game video machines for both the coin-op and consumer markets, last week announced that it has entered into an exclusive partnership with Tecway Development Co., Ltd of Taiwan. Under the agreement, UltraCade Technologies will be the exclusive distributor of Tecway's products in North America. Tecway will also work with UltraCade Technologies in developing the next generation of UltraCade's products for the family market space, leading off with a redemption version of its popular Breeders' Cup horse racing property.
UltraCade Technologies hits the ground running with four initial offerings, which will be shown at the upcoming AMOA trade show in Las Vegas, NV. These four redemption offerings include Shark Hunter, an aquatic-themed, roll-down game that features bonus play, Dino Time, a fast-paced, spinning-wheel game featuring a classic dinosaur theme, and two video redemption based games called, Smack 'n Bash and Tempo Kiddo. Smack 'n Bash features a horizontally mounted screen with a rubber hammer that kids smash characters in varying mini games. Tempo Kiddo is a marquee-drum game that offers kids a high level of interaction and is for ages four and above.
"Our new partnership with Tecway allows UltraCade to dive straight into the redemption market with proven technology while broadening our overall product line," said David R. Foley, CEO of UltraCade Technologies. "Tecway has an amazing R&D and manufacturing facility that compliments our incredible design team. With this new partnership we expect to leverage the expertise of both companies and further redemption machine sales in the industry."
