ICE Raises the Stakes with 'Global Force' Marketing Campaign
With the annual expo season now underway, the International Casino Exhibition (ICE) has set out its stall as a major 'global force in the gaming industry.' This is the theme adopted by show organisers, ATE, in what will be the London show's biggest visitor marketing campaign in its 15-year history. Adverts, flyers and bespoke features publicising ICE 2006 will appear in at least 25 casino industry b2b publications between September and January, with joint promotion of ICE and its sister show ATEI (soft gaming and electronic leisure) being placed in a further 10 titles covering dual markets, most notably in eastern Europe. ICEi, the igaming sub-section of ICE, will also benefit from a dedicated promotional push in specialist magazines serving that sector. An extensive media relations programme and over 150,000 direct mailings will also be deployed along with online promotion via key electronic media.

John Fenna, ATE's head of marketing, said "ICE has welcomed exponential growth in attendance over the last decade. Our aim is to continue that trend and reinforce the show's status as a truly unmissable event for casino industry professionals based throughout the world. With around 19,000 industry professionals from over 100 nations, few shows could compare with ICE for the diversity and reach of its loyal customer base. Whilst protecting a powerful audience of buyers from key traditional operating territories, our focus for 2006 will be to further exploit the potential of new markets developing throughout eastern Europe and the CIS, South America and the Far East." ICE takes place at Earls Court 2, London, UK on 24-26 January 2006. Registration for free entry badges can be made online at www.ateonline.co.uk/ice, or telephone +44 (0) 870 429 4606 to request an entry form.
