JAMMA Show Gold: Part 2
The second part of the JAMMA show report, and more of the detail on what is shaping the amusement development scene in Asia is revealed exclusively to the Stinger. Listed are the other strong videos on show at the event, the reason for the Konami no-show, and the trends that shaped the event ranging from the application of IC Cards in nearly every game to the application of the Card Game 'kid vending' concept across the board. UK Basks in Retro Fun
Europe's largest classic gaming event, the 'Classic Gaming Expo UK', takes hold of the playing audience and reveals the hunger with the Golden Era classic coin-op and console systems. The event attempted to bring the European players into touch with the explosion in retro gaming in the States, and was visited by the Twin Galaxy World record scoring team, introducing the first UK high-scorer to the mix.

Major Ramifications from Past Incidents!
The Stinger reveals that SEGA has held a press conference to reveal their internal investigation concerning the fatality at their Tokyo JOYPLOIS facility, which sees full disclosure on executive imposed penalties including their president. Information on three charges against works and managers at the facility, and the removal of the attraction from the re-opened site, TSR learns of an extensive refurbishment plan of SEGA's facility plans and a need to address corporate liability. Another manufacturer under pressure to address safety concerns, the Walt Disney California venue and its California Scream' in has come under greater scrutiny following the revelation that modifications were made to the attraction without the manufacturers' knowledge that could have had involvement with the July incident. Meanwhile the theme park industry looks to possible acquisitions of a major player.
