PAC MAN Mania hits Deith Group
Deith Group has announced that Preview 2006 will be the official launch pad of Deith Gaming's new section 16/21 machine, Pac Man 500 (pictured). Developed in house, under the guidance of technical Director, Barry Thompson, Pac Man 500 is the Group's first section 16/21 machine. Making full use of a fantastic licence, players select from a 10p stake which activates 1 win line for a maximum £25 win, 30p for 3 lines & £75, 50p for £125, £1 for £250 and £2 for £500 maximum win. Wins are awarded on all "active" win lines with "Wild" symbols substitute for all other symbols.

There is a random feature game which is activated when 3, 4 or 5 Pac Man feature symbols are on an active win line. The reels are replaced by 5 columns of mixed "Icon" fruits & flashing purple Ghosts. The player selects one of the five columns where the Pac Man character starts chomping away. The Icons move down to Pac Man, which when eaten display the win value. When the purple Ghost returns to a "normal" colour the feature is over. The wins awarded range from £2 to £25. The slim Vegas cabinet features a 26" tft screen with note acceptor. Delivery starts following the Preview.

Steve Bryant said, "I can't think of a better way to launch Deith Gaming into a really competitive market. Pac Man 500 is a fantastic looking machine, which we are all incredibly proud of. Interest is already high and we expect machines to fly out the door. We were all very pleased to get the Pac Man licence and I think we have made the very best use of it. The Preview will be the first time anyone outside of the company will have seen Pac Man 500 and we can't wait for everyone's reaction."
