Conference Details Released for Enada Rome 2005
Coinciding with today's inauguration of the 33rd edition of Enada Rome, the show's organisers have revealed approximately 200 companies will showcase innovative products and new versions of successful games during the 2005 expo. According to Rimini Fiera SpA, this year's Enada Rome is a good opportunity for trade members to attend conferences and become involved in the debates that will be held during the show.

The first conference, "Gambling's common market: an opportunity or a risk" will be held today, on Thursday 13 October from 3pm to 6pm in the Trevi Room. Speakers will include;
  • Euromat chairman, Eduardo Antoja, with a speech on "The direction of the gambling market's expansion in Europe and Euromat's strategies for safeguarding the sector's industry"
  • Andrei Tottenham, a trade exporter, "The interpretation of the Gambelli sentence and the Court of Cassation's United Sessions: an unsolved case?"
  • Lucy C. Cronin, Euromat Secretary General, "The latest legislative developments at EU level"
  • Eugenio Bernardi, SAPAR Vice chairman, "98/34 CE procedure"
  • Miller McLeod, Bacta Association "Great Britain: an overview of national legislation (new Gambling Act, issued a few months ago)"
  • Gunner Sorensen, Dab Chairman "Denmark: an overview of national legislation"
  • Amadeu Farrè, Cofar Association "Spain: an overview of national legislation"
The next conference, "The identity of an "owner": traditional trade members' market in on-line coin-op networks", will be held at 12 noon tomorrow, on Friday 14 October in the Trevi Room with speakers including;
  • Anna Maria Barbarito, Director of the Coin-op Machine Department of the AAMS (Italy's State Monopoly Administration), will explain AAMS action plans in this specific sector.
  • Alejandro Pèrez Garciaex general manager of the "new technology" division of the multinational Recreativos Franco, will speak about "Technology and Innovation. The new frontiers offered by coin-op gambling"
  • Quirino Mancini, an expert in international law and member of the International Master of Gambling Law "Legislation. Licences as a solution to gambling regulations?"
  • Stefano Sbordoni, a lawyer and consultant of many trade members and licensees "Integrating small private trade members into the licensing system"
  • Luca Contiello, Managing Director of Inspired Leisure Link Italia SpA "The difference between promises and wins, amusement offers and prices"
  • Massimo Ruta, Managing Director of Gtech Italia "Marketing. Market analysis and investment strategies"
  • Marco Ripamonti, lawyer and SAPAR legal consultant "Protecting investments. Fighting the illegal and underground markets"
