System 2006 Soon Available for Photo Play Terminals
Funworld Ag has announced System 2006 will be available on its Photo Play terminals from 5 December 2005 and will offer more than 50 novelties for players and operators. Funworld said the aim of the new System 2006 is to attract new players as well as increase user friendly features for tournament players. System 2006 boasts such user friendly features as the addition of a guide, Joy, who gives the player important tips about Photo Play; a reduced requirement for screen taps to enter a game or tournament; non-requirement of registration and quick integration of new players into the Masters' tournament system.
Every registered player has a personal ID card with data such as their e-mail address, birthday, mobile phone number and details about the successful tournaments the player has participated in. A special communication and sports centre for players has also been integrated into a new 'My Photo Play' section where news such as the announcement of events, information by other players and each player's Photo Play career is exchanged.
New contents available in System 2006 for Operators include the two Special Offers that are particularly suitable for promotions at the operating location, and which are pre-programmed in the location related settings. The 'Happy Hour' promotion allows for games to be offered at a lower price at a certain point of time, while the 'New Location' promotion is intended for new operating locations. If activated, games provided are automatically reduced to ten top games, which can be played at a discounted price. All other games are added gradually within a particular time span. System 2006 also boasts a games carousel and every month the two games which are played the least at the operating location are deactivated and replaced by two other games from an internal games pool, thus guaranteeing that the right selection is available for each location.
System 2006 can be activated by special dongle on all Photo Play terminals that are linked online from December 5 2005* onwards. For Photo Play terminals that are not linked online, the DVD 'System 2006' is available at or after the ATEI 2006. Besides the completely revised system, the update contains twelve new games for Photo Play Xtreme Terminals (nine for Photo Play 2.1). The new games for System 2006 include skill: Sphinx, Ice Age, Pirates, Clockwork and Word Hunt; Quiz: Quiz Show; Cards: Card Lander, Roman Towers and Double Jack; and 3-D Games (only available on Photo Play Xtreme terminals): Collector, Mini Golf and Spinball.
