New Touchmonitors and Touchcomputers Debut at London Show
Elo TouchSystems, Inc., one of the global leaders in touch technology and a business unit of Tyco Electronics, is launching several exciting gaming and amusement oriented products on booth 1830 at the ATEI Exhibition, Earls Court, London, 24 to 26 January 2006 including a new family of rear mount gaming LCDs, tabletop LCDs and the recently launched 1529L touchcomputer (pictured).
Three new models of metal frame LCD touchmonitors are being shown, in 15", 17", and 19". All feature an even more compact footprint, unique watertight minibezel, and superior Elo surface wave or capacitive touch technology. The 1739L and 1939L models feature a wide viewing angle panel. Further, Elo's recently announced 1529L silent, fanless all in one touchcomputer is also making its first appearance at a UK exhibition. The space saving, elegantly styled touchcomputer combines a touchmonitor with a computer in the footprint of a standard 15" tabletop LCD. Integrated options include a three track Magnetic Stripe Reader (MSR) and a rear facing customer display. The Microsoft XP version includes a hard drive; the Windows XP Embedded version has solid state components with no moving parts. Applications for the new all in one touchcomputer include casino management and bingo.
Elo is also showing its large portfolio of tabletop touchmonitors for all areas of the casino operation. With an extensive selection of models by size, design and colour, they will surely meet the requirements as well as complement the décor of any casino. Sizes on display range from 12" to 30". Also on show are Elo's core touch technology products. Elo capacitive touchscreens provide a solution for customers seeking an alternative to the currently available capacitive options. And the recently patented IntelliTouch Super Flat Profile (SFP) touchscreens extend the company's proven pure glass surface wave touch technology by using grating technology to achieve distinct advantages: a true flat front surface that smooths out the bumps of integration, narrower borders around the active touch sensitive area and a new flat cabling system.
