More Diversity and Depth in ATEI 2006 Product Offering
The ATEI show which is to be held on the 24-25-26 January 2006 at Earls Court 1, London, UK, more widely known as "The London Show" on the international circuit, will have on offer a diverse range of products and services by a number of different suppliers. Since moving to Earls Court in the early 1990's the show has attracted over a quarter of a million coin-op gaming and gambling industry professionals from no fewer than 173 nations. With the 62nd annual Amusement Trades Exhibition International (ATEI) fast approaching, show organisers are gearing up to stage what they believe will be seen by many as another landmark event for operators across every geographical market. For free ticket registration and information visit: www.ateonline.co.uk/atei.

ATE's head of marketing, John Fenna explained, "Experienced visitors already know that when they register to attend ATEI they are effectively insuring themselves against missing out on important business opportunities. No where else can they find such a diverse range of new products and services offered by the broadest base of suppliers assembled under any one roof." Three months ahead of Earls Court's doors opening, the ATEI floorplan was already packed with 264 exhibitors drawn from 30 countries, a record proportion of which (46 per cent) are suppliers based outside of the UK. Added to this will be at least 182 companies from 34 countries in the co-located casino and i-gaming show, ICE/ICEi, and 39 in the inaugural Visitor Experience Show. "The spread of product sectors at January's show has widened," said Mr Fenna. "There will be increased numbers of exhibitors spanning several sectors including family amusements, video games, prize vending, income protection, sports-themed games, machine components and spares, gaming and used equipment. No matter how specific their product requirements may be, ATEI 2006 will offer visitors plenty of alternative choices, not to mention a whole raft of new ideas being adapted to suit different jurisdictions the world over."

Gaming will be the most heavily represented product on the show floor, featuring upwards of 75 suppliers of various types of video, reel and online applications. Servicing the needs of both manufacturers and operators, suppliers of new machine components, spares and accessories make up the second highest show floor presence with no fewer than 55 different outlets. Sports-themed games are also in the ascendancy: at least 48 exhibitors will feature the latest in cue sports, table games, bowling, darts, basketball and more. Another of ATEI's rising star sectors over recent years, prizes & vending will be very much to the fore with 47 or more individual suppliers of novelty vending, swag, plush and promotional gifts taking to the show floor. Income protection remains high on the ATEI itinerary with payment systems specialists joining change machine manufacturers and suppliers of secure locks, software / surveillance and other safety systems. The number of exhibitors displaying perennial ‘family' favourites such as cranes, pushers, photo kiosks and novelty / redemption products has increased again this year, rising to 43. Video games, together with their simulation and touchscreen tournament derivatives, continue to sustain a strong ATEI presence with 38 or more exhibitors scheduled to line up at Earls Court.

There will be plenty of expert professional advice and consultancy services available on the show floor with 32 specialists in the fields of finance, planning, interior design, compliance, insurance, legal, training, b2b publications and trade association affairs – to name but a few. Music, signage, furniture, visual display, interior design and other ancillary product offerings will be displayed by a diverse range of 31 exhibitors. Child's play, in the form of kiddie and juvenile rides, soft play and playground equipment, continues to play its part with 21 exponents taking their place on the ATEI show floor, complemented by more key players serving this sector lining up in the inaugural Visitor Experience Show, located on Level 2 of Earls Court 1. Other product sectors involved in ATEI will include suppliers of used equipment (17 exhibitors) and bingo / lottery supplies (8 exhibitors).
