Deith Group Merge With Photo-Me
Deith Group has merged with Photo-Me International PLC. This is the latest acquisition in a series of purchases by the PMI Group that has included the kiddie ride manufacturers Jolly Roger and Mitchells. The multi-million pound deal will enable the Deith Group to firmly establish its new gaming division both domestically and internationally. This will lead to more great games to complement its first national hit Pac Man 500. New games released last week at the ATEI will subsequently be unveiled at other trade shows around the world.
Leon Deith said, "The merger of our companies at this stage in our growth will enable us to develop and promote our new brand of machines with the backing and expertise of the PMI Group. They have a tremendous network of companies globally which will open up opportunities in many more markets."
The Deith brothers, Leon and Matthew, will run the company, being instrumental in spearheading the ongoing development and expansion of the Group. The focus will be on the synergies between the companies, including distributing the great new generation of TFT Interactive kiddie rides and utilising the enormous buying power the Group enjoys. Matthew Deith said, "We are delighted with the transaction. It will give Deith Group the opportunity to expand into other strategic areas which have already been identified."
