Brent Break All Records in London
Brent Sales has confirmed that it broke all records at ATEI, exceeding its sales target for the entire show by 4pm on the first day. According to product manager, John Brennan, the 2006 Brent success story is due to a combination of 'best of breed' products and the show's ability to attract serious buyers. "There's no doubt that we have outstanding models across every category of equipment including video, novelty, redemption, pushers, SWP and cranes," he said. "When you can introduce a range that strong to such large numbers of international buyers, the result is a tremendous order book. We couldn't be more pleased from what was the culmination of several years' working with the world's foremost games developers and manufacturers, to bring the very best in coin-op to the European markets that we serve."
The main talking points for buyers on the Brent stand were Namco's Time Crisis 4 (video/shooting) - pictured, Crow for Cash, Casino Winner and Pac-Man Ball (pushers) and Rockin' Bowl-O-Rama (video/bowling); Raw Thrills' Super Bikes (video/motorcycling) and The Fast and the Furious (video/driving); Intouch Games' Rollerball (SWP); and ICE's NBA Hoops (redemption/basketball). In addition to the UK and Ireland, particularly strong orders were received from Russia, Spain, Italy, France, Germany and the Middle East.
