Sega Takes the Lead With ATEI Move
Explaining the strategy behind the decision to move from Sega's traditional location on the ground floor, Paul Williams said: "Our main requirement was to get a bigger stand in a high impact location. We will be trading up from the two stands totalling 232 square metres (2,496sq.ft.) to a single presence in excess of 430 square metres (4,627sq.ft.). Obviously at this stage I can't divulge exactly what we will be showing, but there will be a lot of products including two revolutionary, extremely large pieces, the likes of which have never been seen before at the London show."
He continued: "We've always been of the mind that it's important to grasp opportunities when they arise, which is exactly what we've done. There's a talented and creative team in place at Sega Europe who will be focussed on making what is a very, very important show for us an even bigger success in 2007. We've already generated some great ideas and look forward to working with the organisers on a range of marketing initiatives."
Karen Cooke, Clarion ATE's head of exhibitions, said: "Sega is one of the most prestigious, high profile exhibitors we have at ATEI and represents a major attraction for buyers. The team at Clarion ATE is committed fully to making this into a major success and we look forward to working with Paul and his colleagues at Sega."
