Photo Play World Games 2006 - 20th May 2006
The Countdown is on, as 170 players, 89 general agents, 164 operators, 55 staff, close to 30 close associates and journalists and last but not least 25 funworld employees, who paid their own way just to be part of the event.
The grand finals of this grand event will be held on Saturday, the 20th of May 2006 at Majorca in upper Austria. Representatives of 27 nations will participate on 173 Photo Play terminals. This is the end of a massive tournament held from November 2005 to March 2006 with a staggering 1.6 million qualifying games played. Across 209 tournaments in order to determine the 170 best players, who will challenge each other for the world champion's titles.
On the Friday afternoon before the finals, Funworld will hold the "Photo Play Xperience", a presentation on the latest Photo Play highlights and successful sales and marketing concepts from Spain, Germany, Cyprus and Turkey, will be held before over 250 business clients and journalists.
Friday afternoon will also have funworld ag's marketing and sales officer, Marco Huter, appear before the Spanish media to answer questions in a special press conference. "We have thought out a very special programme for the opening night", so Marco Huter. No more can be said at this stage, only so much: the ‘Olympic' World Games torch will be ignited spectacularly!
