Concerns with Exhibitors - Atei 2007
There is much unrest with amusement exhibitors at losing their booth position to gaming people at the upcoming ATEI 2007 trade show.
Amusement companies have long enjoyed having the same booth position at the annual ATEI trade held at Earls Court in London. However for next year's show, the organisers of the show have asked everyone who is selling ancillary and non gaming products to move to the upstairs section of the famous Earls Court building. This move has been made to allow the gaming sector companies the prime booths for next years show. This caused a outpouring of resentment and anger especially from the larger companies and the veteran companies that have been a part of the show for many many years.
A lot of companies have contacted us about this sudden uprooting of long standing traditions and booth arrangements. Comments such as this best sum up the situation: "We seriousely believe this will ruin what we believe is the best amusement showcase in the world. New owners clarion believe casino companies upstairs in the past should be entitled to more space. We as stand holders for a lot of years believe this is unfair and is against our grandfather rights."
