Enada Roma - a New SAPAR Chairman Elected at Rimini Fiera
He is Paolo Dalla Pria, who quoted "We want to expand the Association and its great expo." This means close attention will be given from companies for October Trade show Enada Roma. Due to the expected new government's policies on gaming issues.
ENADA Rome will be held at the (12-15 October, at the expo centre in Via Cristoforo Colombo), the trade fair organized by Rimini Fiera on behalf of the SAPAR, will also be the debut of the new managerial staff of the Italian Associazione of operators, manufacturers, importers and exporters of coin-op entertainment machines. In fact, on 23rd and 24th May, Rimini Fiera hosted the national delegates' AGM and the meeting of the steering committee.
Paolo Dalla Pria, from Piove di Sacco (PD), a trade member for fifty years, was elected chairman of the SAPAR. He will be supported by four vice chairmen: deputy chairman Luciano Galatea, Salvatore Riolo, Eugenio Bernardi and Fabio Pavinelli.
After his election, Dalla Pria explained, "I'll work with my colleagues to consolidate the SAPAR's key role in the gaming and game world - carrying out this extremely responsible job to the best of my ability. The coin-op amusement machine world has numerous important companies as far as both turnover and workforce are concerned, and protecting them is our main aim. We shall obviously try to have profitable interaction with the State Monopoly Administration, which we ensure loyalty and commitment, but also ask to streamline the procedure that penalizes companies. On the internal front, I shall work to consolidate the basis of the association and encourage registration and participation on behalf of all trade members - whether they are manufacturers or arcade/venue owners – sho are interested in a market that is well-balanced and respectful of the various roles involved."
Dalla Pra concluded, "We shall promptly undertake to support Rimini Fiera in its organization of ENADA – both the spring edition in Rimini and autumn one in Rome. It's our fair, and the trade's top event, at which we want to increasingly highlight the expo sector, combined with networking with the institutions and trade members. ENADA is the gaming and game trade fair in Italy and SAPAR is the sector's key organization: well aware of this, we'll now get down to work. But first of all, I want to renew my invitation to all trade members to come to Rome, from 12th to 15th October."
In the meantime, at Rimini Fiera, the registration campaign is in full swing for the ENADA International Amusement & Gaming Machine Show, being held from October 12th to 15th at the Italian capital's expo centre in Via Cristoforo Colombo.
100 companies have already expressed interest in the show, the next edition of which is also being held in a very important period: just a few months after the installation of Italy's new Government. In fact, there's great expectation in trade circles for news from Prime Minister Prodi's executive on issues regarding gaming.
