GTI EXPO 2006 Wrapped Up as the Tip-Top Trade Event in Asia
Taking place at B, C, and part of D Zones of Hall 1 of the Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC), the three-day GTI EXPO 2006 has crowned on July 9, coupled with the presence of 112 exhibitors from China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, Thailand, and the US in addition to Taiwan, occupying 857 booths and 28 of which were first-comers. The participation of exhibitors saw a 12 percent growth than last year and again approved the promotional effects, international reputation, and professionalized recognition of GTI EXPO throughout these years. This year the annual tradeshow for the global electronic gaming/amusement industry has attracted a total of 3,424 visitors from over 50 countries besides Taiwan, including most countries in Southeast Asia, Nepal, Turkey and delegation groups of 30-plus people from Japan and Korea; Denmark, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Spain, Slovakia, and the UK from Europe; Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Paraguay, Peru, the US and Venezuela from America; Egypt, South Africa, Swaziland, and Zambia from Africa. Most of the international have commented that the show was excellent, appealing, and influential.
Since its first edition in 1993, GTI EXPO has kept growing in numbers of booths, visitors and exhibitors to accumulate the world-famous reputation, making itself the one and only platform for Asian companies to showcase their products to the world. The excellence in abundance and variety of exhibits also make the show virtually a one-stop occasion for buyers. Apart from the elaborate products of all sorts displayed by the exhibitors, companies likes IGS, Saint-Fun International in Taiwan and Andamiro from Korea also held tournaments of mass scale at the venue where players experienced the newest products by interacting with the gaming machines at a virtually near distance, meanwhile interested buyers can distinguish which product is the best for their needs at once.
This year's exhibition has successfully included several technology-based firms who claimed that this year is their "very first debut" in this significant festival, these firms are best-known for their expertise in R&D ingenuity by selling industrial PC motherboards, panels and other relevant accessories. Such a move of cross-border participation also symbolizes the glorious prospect of the whole industry, which is indeed worth of anticipating. Being the largest scaled and the most effective exhibition in the Asian Pacific region, GTI EXPO not only introduces a fair chance for every country in Asia in terms of international interactions, but also directly contributes business possibilities for industry people from Taiwan, Korea, Japan and other countries. GTI EXPO 2007, remaining its sincerity and professionalism, is currently scheduled to be unveiled at B and C Zones, Hall 1 of TWTC and is set to accelerate and boost the electronic gaming/amusement industry in Taiwan to another upper level and fascinate the world with its imperishable shine.
