Merit's MegaNet Sneak Peek at Photo-Pop
Merit Entertainment has announced the release of its next great photo hunting game, Photo-Pop™. A MegaNet® exclusive, it is the first of Merit's new set of Sneak Peek Games™, and will only be available to MegaNet subscribers. All machines will get Photo-Pop with the Fall 2008 software for both Force™ and ION™, but only MegaNet connected machines have access to Sneak Peek Games before their official release in the fall.
The Photo-Pop player's objective is to locate 3 image fragments within a larger photograph. The player must find each fragment within a few seconds, then touch it to score points, with targets becoming smaller and smaller as the game advances. Like PhotoHunt®, Merit expects Photo-Pop to appeal not only to the single-player but to groups as well.
For those with MegaNet-connected systems, more Sneak Peek games will be arriving soon, with a new game automatically downloaded each month. Previous Sneak Peeks, such as Draggle Drop™, have been real earnings winners for operators, whilst also keeping systems fresh with a steady stream of new games. Broadband-connected MegaNet games also have the ability to auto-download the entire 2007.5 software release simply by the operator clicking a box on the MegaNet site.
