Enterprising Games Week is scheduled to get underway in less than a week, with the event being held over the 27th-28th of June in London, UK. The event will comprise a number of conferences and masterclasses dedicated to the use of games in areas other than the traditional games industry. The event will highlight a variety of innovative ways for enterprises to extend their brand and develop unique creative outcomes.

Topics will include the rise of social media and how to use such technology to achieve ground-breaking outcomes in brand extension. The power of blogging, the value of podcasting, the inclusion of YouTube and video sharing, and the use of RSS and social bookmarking will all be explored throughout the event. The increasing popularity of virtual worlds will also be considered, with a focus on how to use virtual worlds such as Second Life in your business now and in the future.

The Enterprising Games Week event will also incorporate the second Apply Serious Games annual conference. For the first time the event will include a presentation focused on the Out-of-Home interactive entertainment and exer-gaming sector.
