Monkwood Technologies Virtual Queuing system a first for Flamingo Land
British theme park Flamingo Land has announced their decision to install Monkwood Technologies cell phone based Virtual Queuing system, making it the first theme park to adopt the groundbreaking technology. Monkwood's cell phone, wristband and scanning applications create a virtual queue, which automatically contacts guests when it is time to ride. The system offers a practical solution which ensures that guests do not have to stand in queues to ride the venues most popular attractions.
The system offers much more than just a means to avoid having to stand in queues, Colin Nunn, Monkwood's CEO, added "we provide lost child help, CRM systems, operational statistics, communication systems and means of altering crowd dynamics. I'm really looking forward to working with Flamingo Land to roll out technologies that are revolutionary to the attractions industry".
