California Extreme organisers are currently assembling their speaker and seminar lineup for this years show, and have asked the public to nominate people to participate in two new events that are planned.

The first addition is the SuperTech Summit, a seminar intended to be a place for people who have spent a lot of time repairing arcade machines to share their technical knowledge and the "tricks of the trade". The session will be open for everyone to listen and ask questions, with the organisers envisioning a panel of Super Techs who will discuss tips, tricks, and tools that they feel others should know about.

The second event that will premiere at this years show is Docent Tours, also known as Birds of a Feather or BOAF groups. Those with an area of interest, for example Vector X-Y games or woodrail artwork, will be given the opportunity to lead people on a tour of the show floor and discuss the topic.

Other events at this year's event include the Super Auctions, which will be held on the same weekend right next door, the California Extreme Film Festival, and the Arcade Trivia Challenge contest.

California Extreme organisers believe that the show grows out of community involvement, and is intended to be open for the community to add what they would like, such as speakers, seminars and contests. This is your chance to participate, so if you would like to nominate an expert or volunteer yourself, send all nominations to info@caextreme.org
