GTI Asia Hong Kong Expo 2007 marks GTI's first show outside of Taiwan

GTI Asia Hong Kong Expo 2007 will take place on November 7 to 9 at Hall 7A of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center, Hong Kong, and will target the Chinese market.

The event marks GTI's first show outside of Taiwan, and indicates the gradual opening of the game market in China. The release of the "Regulations on Management of Entertainment Venues" in March 2006 by the Chinese Government has been credited as a major factor in the opening up of the Chinese game market. Recently in China, the number of arcades and game shops has been on a rapid increase, with the high market demand placing some products short in supply. Operators are looking for quality products from Japan, Korea, and the US for their locations, with GTI Asia Hong Kong providing a great opportunity to enter such a lucrative market.
