Street Fighter IV announced by Capcom
The long-awaited and heavily rumoured fourth installment in Capcom's Street Fighter franchise has officially been announced. Capcom has announced that Street Fighter 4 is in development, however the game is still more than a year away.
Although Capcom USA owns the rights to Street Fighter, from initial reports it appears that Capcom Japan will be handling the actual development of the title under Capcom USA's supervision. It is unclear at this stage which platforms the title is being developed for, although it is highly likely the title will get an arcade release.
