The IMA 2008 trade show, which took place 15-18th January in Dusseldorf, Germany, has proven to be a huge success, with the extension of the show to four days proving very popular. Two exhibition halls showcased a range of amusement, vending, gambling machines and much more.
Final figures showed that 8,850 trade visitors attended the show, with growth reported from all sectors, including an 8 percent growth in overall visitor numbers and a 15 percent growth in exhibitor numbers.
Amusement machines and sports gaming machines were much more popular than in previous years, with billiards, darts, air hockey and pinball machines met with lively interest from visitors. The spare parts and component products at the show also experienced major growth from previous years.
The next IMA will take place in Dusseldorf starting on January 13th, 2009.
