The first B.E.R (Bowling Event Rimini), the trade show dedicated to the bowling business, is now only weeks away. B.E.R will be held simultaneously with the 20th edition of Enada Spring, from March 13-16 in hall A1 of the Rimini Exhibition Centre.
In addition to the biggest companies from the industry, whose stands will exhibit the new releases for this season – the exhibitors this year include Steltronic, Qubica-AMF, Switch Entertainment, Si-Line (Brunswick distributor for Italy), Vebo, Studio Ciccotti, Karl Funk GmbH from Germany, Gemax from Poland and Carlos M.M. Teofilo from Portugal – B.E.R. will also have the backing of EBPA (European Bowling Proprietors Association), and FISB, the Italian Sport Bowling Federation.
European owners of bowling centres and Italian players and instructors will come together at the unique, and highly specialised event. EBPA (the European Bowling Proprietors Association), and FISB, the Italian Sport Bowling Federation will both offer seminars during the event, which will be open to all visitors. One of the subjects will be Russia, where bowling is exploding and new bowling centres are opening rapidly in all big cities, as well as the prospects for the growth of the sport of bowling in Russia. The speakers will be the owner of System 300, a Finnish company with experience in the Russian market and knowledge of the bureaucracy and its various problems, and Phil Mison, from England, member of the EBPA Committee, who will give his impressions after having produced the TV program for Eurosport dedicated to the final of the QubicaAMF World Cup 2007, held at the Continent Bowling Center in Saint Petersburg.
An interesting technical seminar organised by FISB will be Biomechanics as part of training athletes. Nicola Bellini will introduce the world of sports biomechanics, who will then hand over to a federation coach from FISB, who will focus on the relationship between this science and bowling.
