The 20th edition of ENADA Spring is quickly approaching. Set to take place from 13th-16th March at Rimini Expo Centre, Italy; ENADA Spring will feature an all-round showcase of the amusement and gaming trade, with in-depth coverage, new products and networking. The event will also mark the debut edition of B.E.R, the first European bowling trade fair, which will be held simultaneously with ENADA Spring.
The 20th edition of ENADA Spring will occupy six halls at Rimini Fiera, with approximately 400 exhibitors in an area of almost 40,000 square metres. ENADA Spring will also focus attention on remote gaming and games, in particular with the new Enada.i section, which at the last editions met with great success and where it will be possible to find all the latest in i-gaming, information on games and means for spreading and distributing the products, as well as management and control software.
ENADA Spring arrives after recent developments in Italy which have heavily impacted the amusement and gaming sector. At the end of 2007 Paolo Dalla Pria, the chairman of SAPAR, the trade Association that represents over 1,500 owners, manufacturers and resellers/retailers of amusement machines, had expressed his satisfaction for the approval of the new Italian Finance Law, "which brings substantial changes to the regulations on amusement and gaming machines and enables to finally overcome the juridical uncertainty regarding machines caused by simultaneous involvement of skill-entertainment-risk elements."
Dalla Pria continued, "The approximately 3,800 companies involved in this sector will now be able to face the future more calmly, without running the risk of cases such as those caused by the investigation in Venice being repeated. Therefore, this will all lead to greater investments, more employment and higher revenue for the State's coffers." Dalla Pria concluded, "This is an extraordinary result, if we consider the difficulties overcome to ensure that the correctness of proposals made by the trade was understood at parliamentary level, and the need for them to be urgently examined and accepted."
