ENADA Spring 2008 – The International Amusement & Gaming Machine Show has drawn to a close. Attendance figures reflected the positive atmosphere at the show, with 25,168 visitors passing through the doors - an 8.5 percent increase compared to 2007.
ENADA Spring 2008 covered six halls, occupying almost 40,000 square metres and hosting approximately 400 exhibitors. On show were products relating to the game and gaming world, including amusement machines and spare parts. ENADA Spring also focused attention on remote gaming and games, in particular with the new ENADA.i section, which hosted all the latest in i-gaming, information on games and the means for spreading and distributing the products, as well as management and control software.
Simultaneously the debut of B.E.R. (Bowling Event Rimini), the first European trade expo dedicated to Bowling, addressed bowling alley owners, recreation centre owners and managers, owners and managers of shopping centres / malls, those who have made bowling their business and those who want to do so. On show were lanes, machines for cleaning and oiling them, scoring systems, pinsetters, backdrops for lanes, signs and overheads, spare parts, seating, bowls and pins - in short, every kind of equipment for bowling.
On the show, ENADA's business unit sales manager Simone Castelli explains, "We are extremely satisfied, because this exhibition has confirmed that it is a fundamental meeting point for the sector's trade members. A sector which, after many uncertain moments, is now rewarding the great effort to adapt to meet the new regulations".
As chairman Dalla Pria mentioned at the inauguration, "Apart from being the twentieth, this was a particularly important edition, as it celebrated the beginning of the era of the NewSlot2, the new generation of machines which, as well as having more appetising gaming parameters, have technical requisites that ensure the system is "armour-plated", protecting players and takings, as well as trade members."
