Vortek V3
Global VR have announced that development has been completed on the latest game for its Vortek platform, Sky Bandits. The title is based on popular Vortek title Operation Blockade, and will begin shipping November 3rd 2008.
Sky Bandits features similar gameplay to Operation Bloackade, but with a space setting. In the space shooter, players must shoot down futuristic spacecraft with their arsenal of weaponry including pulsars and blasters. The Vortek V3 system features a boom mounted helmet which gives the player a 360 degree field of vision.
It is compatible with Global VR's V3 as well as V2 and Deluxe models that have been upgraded. The title will also be available to operators as a stand-alone game or as a package containing several Vortek games which the player can select from.
