Ubeat - likely to appear at ATEI 09
Konami have confirmed that they will exhibit at the ATEI 2009, held in Earl's Court London from 27th to 29th January 2009. Although Konami has yet to confirm which products will be on show, the company has secured a bigger stand than in recent years, and are promising a diverse line-up of products which cater for different markets.
Product Planning Assistant Michael Goodburn said that he is "excited about the show and the prospect of showing so many new titles". He stated that diversification is the key in the ever-evolving amusement industry, with Konami's line-up including machines serving street locations such as pubs and bars, family entertainment centres, and much more.
Konami has also stated that the latest advancements from the BEMANI team will be showcased. Although not confirmed officially, the latest BEMANI title Ubeat (known as Jubeat in Japan), is likely to make an appearance at the trade show. The touchscreen music game has been very well received since its release in Japan, and has recently been on location test in London.
