Stacker copies seized in Chinese raids
LAI Games have continued to help protect the copyright and intellectual property rights of their prize vending game, Stacker. The popularity of the machine has led to numerous imitations being produced, with Chinese Copyright Authorities this week conducting a raid on the factory of Macrown Electronic Development Co, Ltd, confiscating an entire production line of games that infringe on Stackers copyright.

Alan Freimuth, CEO of LAI GAMES stated, "At this stage we know that the offending games have been sold into the market as Pile Up, Aces High, Go Up and Chase the Ace, we suspect they have also been sold under other names but won't know further details until the Copyright Bureau has sifted through all documents."

Mr. Freimuth went on to say "The Chinese Copyright Bureau that organized the raid has been very understanding and sympathetic to our case, we see this raid as just one of the steps to defend our copyrights and we'll continue to pursue companies that manufacture, import, distribute or operate copies of our games."
