Criminal Action gets update

Konami arcade game Criminal Action has received an update. The update adds a new level including a new boss character, and new gameplay elements.

Criminal Action was released in Japan earlier this year. The game uses motion-based handheld controls which are used by the player to punch and shoot opponents.

The new stage is set in Hong Kong where you must infiltrate the 'Dragon Head' headquarters. Part of the new stage has players taking to the streets of Hong Kong on a motorbike. Players use a new "Bike Action" to control the motorbike, and must tilt the hand controller to steer and avoid obstacles while pulling the trigger to attack. Another part of the stage has the player throw Chinese dinner plates at their foes during a heated battle set in a restaurant.

At the end of the stage players face-off against Lee, a martial arts expert with superhuman abilities.
