Big Buck Hunter Open Season set to launch
Play Mechanix is set to launch the newest entry in the Big Buck Hunter Pro series - Big Buck Hunter Pro Open Season. The latest iteration in the series will be available in a dedicated 42" LCD Deluxe version, as well as a 27" Standard model. A full conversion kit including hardware and rifles, as well as a software upgrade for Big Buck Hunter Pro machines will also be available.
Big Buck Hunter Open Season has players hunting 8 North American big game animals across 24 different hunting treks, with a total of 120 different hunting sites. At the end of each trek, players will need to compete in one of 24 bonus round challenges for extra points.
All four configurations will be release simultaneously and will be compatible for use on the CoinUp Tournament program.
In other Big Buck Hunter news, Play Mechanix will hold The Big Buck Hunter Pro and Big Buck Safari World Championships this weekend in Chicago, USA. Over 50 players from the United States and one player from Australia will compete for the two top prizes of $10,000.
Last year, players came out from across the country to participate, and organizers expect the same this year. "This is the event that players have been waiting for all year, so come on out and cheer them on," said PlayMechanix's Ryan Cravens.
The Big Buck Hunter Pro and Big Buck Safari World Championships will be held in Chicago, IL at District Bar on Saturday, October 17
