H2Overdrive - the powerboat-themed racing game from the Raw Thrills stable - was a huge success at the recent Preview 2010 show held in London according to distributors Brent Sales/Namco Europe. The company used the exhibition to unveil the fully finished version of the game, first seen in prototype form at ATEI 2009.
John Brennan, Commercial Director at Brent/Namco, stated: "Joining illustrious stablemates, including strong commercial games such as The Fast and the Furious, Super Bikes and Big Buck Hunter, H2Overdrive breaks new ground. Operationally the game has stand-out qualities, notably its ability to attract the first coin courtesy of what is regarded by many as the most visually stunning cabinet on the market, together with a captivating attract mode using LEDs and strobe lighting."
Brennan continued: "Having won that key competition for the first coin, repeat play is inevitable as players warm to the unique racing theme, marvel at the advanced hi-res graphics, master the innovative power-up procedure and feel obliged to continue by accessing a repeat play key pad.
