Crown Direct first to book stand for EAG 2011
BACTA have announced the first companies to book stand space for next January's EAG Expo, to be held 25-27 January 2011 at ExCel Centre, London. Crown Direct was the first company to rebook their stand, with Harry Levy, AMG and E-Services the latest to announce EAG stands.
Dean Harding, MD of Crown Direct said: "We are currently experiencing a very difficult UK coin op market place, so we have to be careful when planning our marketing and sales strategy for the future. EAG in its inaugural year produced strong sales for Crown and Deith, specifically on the family and novelty equipment we supply. I am convinced that as we look ahead to 2011, EAG will be an even stronger event. We are pleased to be the first exhibitor to sign up to the biggest and best Amusement and Gaming Exhibition in the UK."
EAG Expo, presented by trade association BACTA was launched in June 2010 with the first event taking place only 7 months later at the ExCel Centre in London. Industry response to the new event was exceptional and the first ever EAG was heralded a success by both exhibitors and visitors. More than 110 companies demonstrated the latest products which were seen by over 4,900 visitors from around the world.
Harry Levy Amusements, distributor AMG and service centre E-Services are the latest companies to announce their decision to support EAG 2011. Alex Auckland of AMG commented, "The UK amusements industry needs to pull together and commit to a brighter future. Where better to do it than EAG, our very own show where UK manufacturers and distributors can display fantastic product and services and help operators invest in the right products for their business".
Karen Cooke of Swan Events who organise EAG on behalf of trade association BACTA added, "It is fantastic to work on a show where everyone is so committed to the success of the event. It is like being part of a team and means that I can really concentrate on delivering exactly what the exhibitors want. I was excited about EAG last year but I really think that 2011 will be even better. Definitely not to be missed."
