Timezone FEC group Hires Director for International Franchise & Business Development
David Shimell has joined the Timezone FEC group as Director for International Franchise & Business Development.
David shall be based out of Perth, Australia
David joined Kall Kwik UK Ltd (UK master licensee to Kwik Kopy Corporation of America) in 1982, when the franchise business was in its nascent stages.
Six years later David was confident enough in the business and he himself invested in a franchise. Whilst a Franchisee, David was elected by fellow Franchise Owners to serve on Kall Kwik's franchise advisory group and served a 2 year term as Secretary to it's Independent Franchise Owners Association.
David migrated to Australia in 1997 and took up the role of a National Franchise Manager for Fast Eddy's Café followed by the role of National Franchise Manager at Worldwide Online Printing Aust/NZ Pty Ltd., where David, with the team at Worldwide, grew the network from 30 outlets to 80 plus franchisees.
After just 2 weeks in the role David is very positive - "I'm very pleased to have joined such a long established and iconic brand and to be part of the opportunity it offers to prospective new franchisees.
