MEI Amusement OEM Manager Honored with 2010 AMAA President's Award
The 2010 American Amusement Machine Association (AAMA) recently presented its President's Award to Chris Felix, National Amusement OEM manager at MEI. The 29-year-old association presents this award each year to an individual who goes above and beyond the typical membership duties to advance the association's initiatives.
This hard-earned award recognizes Chris Felix's ongoing work with the organization, which includes:
•A three-year tenure on the 15-member AAMA board of directors.
•Two years of service on the Amusement Expo Planning Committee, which worked to combine the 2010 AAMA and AMOA shows.
•A newly-elected position as chairman of the Expo Planning Committee charged with expanding enrollment.
•Providing technical and sales support to operators, distributors, and industry professionals throughout the amusement community.
•Supporting and attending the state and local tradeshows are also distinguishing factors leading this recognition by AAMA this year.
The award recipient was chosen by AAMA president John Schultz, AAMA business & finance manager/membership director Tina Schwartz, and presented to Chris Felix at AAMA's Annual Meeting and Distributor Gala, in Bloomingdale, Illinois on July 29th.
