Creative Works AtomicRUSH - The Next Generation Arcade
At last weeks IAAPA Attractions Expo 2012, Creative Works showcased their Next Generation arcade attraction, AtomicRUSH, a new and exciting machine for the attraction and arcade industry.
"AtomicRUSH really represents a new breed of attraction that is on the forefront of changing how we interact and play together in a social way. It's the next evolution that will transform the gaming experience in modern day arcades," states Creative Works on the attractions site.
This 1-4 multiplayer attraction utilizes state-of-the-art touch technology, brilliant multicoloured LED lighting and high fidelity sound for a highly interactive gaming experience that immerses the player/s of any age or ability.
After entering the attraction, which takes up approximately 130 square feet and features a custom archway, customers play by activating touch sensitive devices on the walls around them according to what game format you're playing. The numerous game formats, multiplayer options and upgrades make AtomicRUSH a game that can adapt and change over time for potentially unlimited variation.
The average game runs for around 60 seconds for maximum turn over, and is screened as a live action video on a HDTV monitor for the waiting players outside, which also loops a 'How to Play' video as well. At the end of the game, every player receives a printed score card as a keepsake, which can also be used to promote the facility or upcoming events, award redemption points, or act as coupons/special offers/promotional deals on other attractions.
Other features for interested buyers are a one year warranty (bumper to bumper cover on everything, including components) and extended warranties are also available, a motion detector security system to prevent unpaid play, cheating and vandalism, and an informative report that can be password protected so you can check at a glance to monitor performance, usage and game information.
