The DNA Association has announced it will be holding the DNA London Seminar on the 21st January, 2013 - the day before the EAG International Expo. Although program details are still being finalised and despite being a smaller event (the one day seminar will accommodate 100 attendees), the response so far has been very enthusiastic.
The seminar is set to be a very interesting and influential event. The DNA event will also include a session on augmented reality applications featuring a presentation by Total Immersion who will highlight observations and trends driving this particular sector. While Six to Start, a leading developer in alternate reality games, will be presenting new applications of mixed reality games in leisure facilities and will highlight oppourtunities for marketing and growth.
There will also be other sessions on applications for parks and leisure facilities, including the development of apps which will be presented by Dogfi.sh Mobile, Hide&Seek, and Lo-Q, and a discussion by Animalive on the application of innovative, interactive animated characters and motion controlled VR games. Also, Mindstorm Entertainment, a prominent intelligent surface systems developer, will be discussing interactive games in the hospitality market, and more sessions are currently being planned to be added to the list, including one on next generation developments and their impact on amusements and attractions in retail/hospitality/leisure facilities (full details to be confirmed).
The DNA is supported by the UK Trade and Industries (UKTI), and the event will take place at the London EXCel venue.
