Sega Sammy Group Wins Development Bid
The Sega Sammy Group, the parenting group of game developer and publisher Sega, has won a bid of $391.5 billion KRW (which is roughly just over $350 million AUD) to develop "Centum City" in the South Korean city of Busan.
Centum City will be multi-purpose complex that will be equipped to handle entertainment, international business, information and communication. In a press release published on the January 4, the company aims to "enter into the resort complex and casino business based on its wide-ranging knowledge and abundant experience in entertainment."
Property sales are still being completed, and construction isn't expected to begin until October this year, and construction is expected to be completed June 2016. The Busan complex is expected to open September 2016.
