Oculus Rift Blog Launches Concept Art Competition for Developers Kit
The oculusrift-blog.com is an Oculus Rift news website run by two die hard gamers and to celebrate a “one year(ish) anniversary of the Oculus Rift Kickstarter campaign” they are giving away a brand new developer’s kit.
They are inviting people to submit designs as to what a HMD could look like in the near future (around this time next year when the consumer Rift is expected to be released).
The more innovative the design, the better the chance you’ll have of winning a developer’s kit to help make your vision a reality.
Submissions need to include high quality images, with as many angles of your concept as possible.
Any form of concept art is allowed, from concept art using MS Paint to Photoshop. The only rule is the HMD must incorporate a single flat panel display, just like the Rift does.
This is an exciting opportunity for any would-be developers out there who would like to work with VR technology and simply haven't had the means to get their hands on a kit as of yet.
It's also a great opportunity to get your work out there and get yourselves noticed as well for creative concept. So don't miss this chance to put yourselves out there!
The closing date is September 16th, so get in quick to submit you’re work which you can do on the oculusrift-blog.com website. Good luck!
