On September 24th, Megatouch 2014 announced it had begun downloading automatically to connected Megatouch Ion machines, which is the company’s subscription model machine.
For the broadband-connected operators that are not using the subscription model can visit the MegaNet Operator Website to activate the software download for their machines. When the 2014 security key is installed, the machine will automatically update after the next time that you turn it on.
And there is no need to worry about having to go through the system set up all over again, as the software download will preserve the machines settings, however this feature is not available with the standard software kit.
The 2014 Ion Software release is the 9th update since the Ion platform’s debut and is loaded with 14 entertaining new games, 10 of which feature
Tournamaxx support. Plus, Megatouch created many new engaging Educational Attract Screens, which are specifically designed to grab the attention of patrons in a bustling bar and to entice them to interact with the Megatouch machine.
Megatouch 2014 is headlined by
Milky Way Mini Golf, in which players test their skills on an outer space golf course with planets, suns, and black hole obstacles and
Cardboard Chaos: Zombie Edition, an undead take on a classic carnival shooter.
“For Megatouch 2014 we wanted to create games that were completely new to the Megatouch experience but also maintain that familiar Megatouch feel,” said Bill Layne, Megatouch Director of Products & Marketing. “Something like Cardboard Chaos is a new concept on a Megatouch but everyone is immediately familiar with a carnival shooter game. The games are simple to learn but quickly become an addictive challenge so they’ll keep players engaged with the machine and increase coin drop.”
Air Guardian: Escape requires players to escape a retro-style arcade game in which players must pilot a helicopter over & under obstacles without crashing, while
Ice Rift - a simple-to-learn yet challenging game where players create enough circles to crack through the ice at the bottom of the screen before time runs out.
Bottletop Drop challenges players to touch, drag, and drop our craft brew bottle-tops to make matches of three or more, and features 35 rounds of fast & furious gameplay.
The download also features two new card games as well as three dice poker games.
Clocker Solitaire is a stylish twist on traditional solitaire and
Final Table: Blackjack puts the odds back in the player’s favor with the “Aces up your Sleeve” feature. There is a flavor of dice poker for everyone as players try to win the jackpot in
Final Table: 5 Dice Poker,
Penthouse 5 Dice Poker, and
Hunks 5 Dice Poker.
Also,
TriTowers has always been a player favorite and money-maker for operators, so the company designed
TriTowers II. With stunning graphics and 15 brand new card layouts, Megatouch creates a fantastic sequel to one of the most popular Megatouch games of all time.
Photo Hunt Expedition III also builds on the proven success of its predecessors and features tons of hidden objects in 19 all-new levels.
The refreshing new content for the pub and club staple will draw players in from all across the room.
