It shows off some fierce fighting from SF favourites like Ken, Ryu, Chun-Li and many other brawlers from the games.
It also shows off new features of the upgraded version, including:
- Red Focus attacks allow a character who is charging up a Focus attack to take multiple hits without interrupting their move. For example, if an opponent unleashes an Ultra Combo, you can charge up a Red Focus attack and strike at the right time without suffering a ton of damage.
- Ultra Combos which players have access to each match instead of having to choose one before each fight.
- Onnline training is being added, as well as an online Elimination Mode where multiple fighters can team up and take on another team - otherwise known as Team Battle Mode. The game will still feature the 1P vs 1P online mode.
Ultra Street Fighter IV will release as a download in June for PS3 and Xbox 360. Fans will be able to digitally upgrade their copies of Super Street Fighter IV and Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition. If you rather have a retail disc containing all the DLC then you’ll have to wait until August and pick up Ultra Street Fighter IV.
