Held at ExCel London - EAG's international home - visitors will be able to check out the latest products and services from over 180 exhibitors, including 14 brand new exhibitors to the show from five countries. Most key exhibitors are planning to debut new products for a European launch, as well as some never-seen-before products!
They will also get the chance to listen and learn with two confirmed seminars: Marc Etches from RGT to speak on "Responsible Gambling Trust - minimising gambling related-harm." at 11:30am on Wednesday 22nd and Richard Holm from PwC will be providing an update on the ongoing Rank litigation and its potential impact for businesses in "The Rank Case - and what it could mean for you?" also on Wednesday 22nd at 2:30pm in the Seminar Theatre.
The two biggest stands in show are by Sega Amusements and Namco Europe, and both companies plan to bring an exciting array of new products to get visitors pumped!
Sega (stand 360) is pulling out all the stops for the upcoming show. They have taken out the largest stand this year and will be exhibiting 14 new titles, plus 11 current hit games as well. Visitors will be welcomed by a four meter tall Bumblebee, who is one of three stars from their new action adventure title, Transformers Human Alliance.
On show will be the Transformers 42" Deluxe cabinet and 55" Theatre cabinet, the highly anticipated Plants vs. Zombies: The Last Stand cabient, as well as a range of other titles including: Down the Clown, an ICE follow up from last year's hit carnival theme game Milk Jug Toss; Whack N' Win, where players have to whack the mallet to stop the lights in the bonus zone; Monopoly - based on the infamous board game; and Cut The Rope, a famous app game where players slide their finger on the touch screen to cut the ropes to feed candy to the green monster called Nom Nom.
Namco Europe (stand 530) has spread across two stands after needing to purchase more floor space to accommodate the massive 29 title line up they have brought with them this year, eight of which will be enjoying European debuts!
Enjoying it's European debut will be Namco's Mach Storm - a unique domed-screen, jet fighter simulation game with five detailed missions across real world cities across the globe; Super Alpine Racer - the new 55" screen upgraded version of the popular Alpine Racer offering fast moving, slope action; Pac-Man Swirl - a four player centre piece, ball-drop game; and Barrel of Monkies - a simple and compelling video redemption game based on a classic 'swinging monkey' theme.
They will also be showing some more familiar titles, such as, Dead Heat Riders, Mario Kart GP DX, Dark Escap 4D, Deadstorm Pirates 4D (with hopefully some details about the new special edition version), Goal Line Rush, Triple Turn, and their Pac-Man range (including Pac-Man Smash Hockey, Pac-Man Basket and Pac-Man Ghost Bowling)!
They will also be showcasing games from Raw Thrills, including the highly anticipated Batman Arcade - a combination shooting and driving arcade machine, Aliens and SnoCross; and new games from Jennison Entertainment Technologies, which will be celebrating the European launch of Snow Down, an exciting two player game with players competing to collect the most snow in their cones in a blizzard.

As usual the show will host it's annual First Night Party, which begins at the end of the first day of the show and will take place at ExCel's Fox Bar. Entertainment at the event will be provided by 'The Heat' and there will be plenty of food and drink to go around, creating the perfect atmosphere to relax and catch up with old friends or colleagues - maybe even make some new ones. With over one-thousand attendees, this night will be huge! Tickets will be available from exhibitors stands during the first day of the show.
Also making a return this year will be the use of the social media campaign #EAGLIVE, which was successfully launched at last years show. The campaign is designed to help participants extract every last ounce of value from their time at the show by allowing exhibitors, visitors trade associations, etc to submit news, views, product information video links, and photos via Twitter using the #EAGLIVE hashtag.
EAG Live will be active throughout the show, with Steph Norbury and other team members visiting stands to gather information, photos and video feeds for immediate posting. Alternatively, information can be dropped off at the EAGLIVE office in the show's Media Village.
Needless to say, there is a lot of buzz and excitement surrounding the 2014 show and what it has to offer, especially as we approach the dawn of first day. More news to come about the show over the next few weeks, so watch this space.
