NAMAO - National Amusement Machine Operators Association of Australia
Rumours of ongoing conflict among the board of the National Amusement Machine Operators Association of Australia has reportedly resulted in the redundancy of at least one crucial member.
The conflict, which is supposed to have been ongoing for some time now, reportedly came to a head this week during a meeting in which legal representation was present. Due to this presence, one member refused to participate and left the meeting.
The result of this meeting has allegedly been the redundancy of one of the boards top operative members, a 40 year veteran leader within the industry, although we are still waiting on official confirmation of the situation.
This has raised some concerns over the future of the association and what this will mean for the industry at large. It is impossible to say at this point until we know more about who has been cut, who stayed and if there will be replacements. We will keep you updated as the situation unfolds.
