Swedavia Swedish Airports and Swedish Red Cross Transform Chairty Boxes into Arcade Classics
Swedavia has taken it upon themselves to make giving to charity fun as they transform Red Cross charity boxes in Swedish airports into classic arcade machines!
The venture was announced by Swedavia Swedish Airports in a Youtube video on March 11 and news of this brilliant idea has slowly been making it's way around the world since.
The video explains, "When people arrive from trips abroad they carry coins which, at best, ends up in boxeds for charity. We decided to make it more fun to donate and, at the same time, turn waiting for bags into a better experience by re-building the boxes into arcade classics."
"It is possible to play with whatever foreign coins you have in your pockets and, of course, every cent, yen, euro and pound goes straight to charity."
Ms. Pac-Man, Space Invaders and Galaga are now up and running at Stockholm Arlanda Airport and Göteborg Landvetter Airport. Play with whatever foreign left over coins you have and at the same time help the Red Cross. Behind the project is Swedavia Swedish Airports and the Swedish Red Cross, together they have developed a more refined version of the traditional collecting box.
