Bandai Namco Releasing Synchronica Arcade Machine June 18
Bandai Namco Entertainment will be releasing the long-anticipated Synchronica music arcade machine on June 18. This fun and exciting new game is another entry for the popular music machine trend.
The machine underwent testing in Japan back in October and uses a very casual-player friendly design and game play style, allowing for players of all skill levels to enjoy it.
The Synchronica arcade machine is a touch screen music video game in which players can play solo or compete against each other to achieve highscores and more!
The name comes from the game play action, which requires players to tap and slide on the touch screen in synchronisation as instructed. Some of the moves from what we can see so far include, single tap, double tap and triple tap, with diagonal upwards sliding.
The game includes a number of popular music genres, such as J-POP, and the machine also shows a VOCALOID trademark at the bottom, so it looks like we can expect to see a few Vocaloid stars in the musical mix as well.
This fun and energetic game uses the Taiko no Tatsujin characters and styling, but is a departure from that series through it's use of a touch screen over the drum and stick controls. How the company will connect Synchronica to the Taiko series is yet to be seen.
