This confirms previous rumours buzzing around that Namco was intending to bring Tekken 7 to the US, however whether or not the company actually does bring the game out in the West will probably be very dependent on the results of these location tests - so if you want to see T7 in the US you better get down to one of the locations mentioned below and play!
At the time of writing there have only been three specific locations confirmed, including Puente Hills Mall in City of Industry, California; Stratford Square Mall in Bloomingdale, Illinois; and Southcenter Mall in Seattle, Washington.
There has been no price and exact date set, but there have been reports of a time frame preceding Evo 2015. This should give American players planning to take part in Evo 2015’s Tekken 7 tournament a bit more time to practice for the event.
This is a significant change for Bandai Namco which has done some testing with Tekken in the US before, but has always been adamant the market to sell to isn't there. Hopefully more details will emerge as we a re quickly approaching July!
