It's that exciting time of year again, when all the big companies start unveiling their exciting new product releases! From what we've seen already, the end of year trade shows are going to be an exciting place to be!
So far, we have Real Drive from Bandai Namco, MotoGP from Raw Thrills and Play Mechanix, Gunslinger Stratos 3 from Square Enix, and new AIRFRAME arcade prototype for Skycurser!
Real Drive - Bandai Namco Entertainment
Real Drive by Bandai Namco Entertainmnet is a virtual driving simulation machine in the same cockt\pit style cabinet as some of their previous games, such as Mach Storm and Star Wars Battle Pod, and was on show at the Tokyo Motor Show! The simulation mechanics in the cabinet provide a highly realistic driving sensations and players will be exhilarated with the technical skill required when cornering or overtaking.
The cabinet features the unique 180 degree dome screen technology that replicates the driver view with a scale of 1:1, a motion seat, surround sound speaker system with real car sounds, and a 6 speed shifter with 3 pedals for a realistic driving experience.

MotoGP - Raw Thrills and Play Mechanix
MotoGP is a motorcycle racing simulator game from Raw Thrills and Play Mechanix, and it will reportedly be unveiled at next month's IAAPA Attractions Expo. The game is a licensed video ride that features virtual versions of actual Grand Prix courses and realistic motorcycles, along with some famous racers.
The cabinet features a 42″ High Definition monitor, a swivel bike controller with keypad for creating a player account/storing progress both on the local machines and online, a camera for an in-game avatar, up to 8 players with online capability, wind effects, and more.
The game features online stat tracking, virtual replications of famous Grand Prix tracks, incredible high definition graphics, 3 difficulty levels, and race against some of the most famous racers in GP history.
Gunslinger Stratos 3 - Square Enix
Square Enix has announced Gunslinger Stratos 3. The game will be based on Gunsliger Stratos 2 and it will include three characters and new stages. NSquare Enix has unveiled the new characters in silhouette images, as well as their voice actors: Argo voiced by Tatsuhisa Suzuki; Kathy voiced by Natsumi Hioka; and Ban voiced by Yū Kobayashi.
The game will be present at the Stratos Festival Special Night Party that will be held at the Tokyo Dome City Hall on November 20, plus you can meet the voice actorsin the game too!
Skycurser AIRFRAME Prototype
After two years of development, the Skycurser team is sending out their AIRFRAME arcade motherboard prototype! The motherboard dcomes with USB dongle and is fairly small, able to fit in most cabinets.
The game is a side scrolling flying shooter, which harkens back to the golden age of gaming when schmups where in endless supply. The AIRFRAME prototype will be entering some venues shortly, so it will be interesting to see players response to the game in an arcade setting.
